Paula sees clients individually and is currently building referrals for a MtF Support Group to meet the last Friday of each month from 6:00-7:30 pm. This will also be on a drop-in donation basis.

Dr. Tonsager doesn't use computer technology, but she has been a major help counseling one of our M2F TG sisters in creating a healthy space to explore her feminine side, and especially helping her spouse come to grips with the situation - NO SMALL FEAT! Savannah is a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern at Austin Family Counseling and provides individual, couples, and group counseling primarily to LGBTQ clients and their families. She currently has a counseling group for family members of transgender individuals that she co-facilitates with Natalie Love, LPC-Intern, LMFT-A, providing support, psycho-education, and the opportunity to process what it's like to have a family member or loved one who is transitioning. They are currently in the process of extending the support they offer the LGBT community and their families to include more group counseling options. Natalie is an LMFT-Associate and LPC-Intern. She co-leads a support group with Savannah Stoute, LPC-Intern, for loved ones of transgender individuals, and also works with LBGTQ individuals and couples. She enjoys working with transgender clients, their partners, and family members wherever they are in their process. Her services include collaborating with doctors and other professionals when needed, offering letters of recommendation for HRT, and providing a welcoming, non-judgmental space to process issues both related and unrelated to gender identity. She is excited about expanding resources and connections in the LGBTQ community.
