There's only one Queen Mary!
She sails on the weekend nights.
Her classic lines, her dark beauty
and her nautical delights
Belie the long hard boyage
She surely must have made
To reach our safe little harbour;
A trip too long delayed.
I wonder at how she navigates
through the wind and the rain and the waves
Steady as she goes, so smoothly
And never misbehaves.
With a five inch heel her only keel
A mini-skirt her sail
A bar stool for an anchor
storms she can prevail.
She's sailed rough seas, but always
Stayed true to her course and strong.
One look at her bow will tell you how
She's lasted all along.
And if one day some irate pirate
Should try to board her, she
Will break his whizzened mizen mast
And send him back out to sea,
For there's no living sailor,
Who has not wished that he
Had the style and grace of Mary
When he was all at sea.
For there's only one Queen Mary,
and she sails on the weekend nights.
With classic lines and darkened beauty
all sailors she delights.
