EVERYONE HAS A STORY, THIS IS MINE
See
the little children saying
The
life they would like to live
Being
happy believing they can be
What
they want to be
See
the parents saying, you’re a boy
So
know what toys are for boys
A
doll for a girl
No
satin and curls
Your
life, it unfurls
For
it is not what you planned it to be
No
ribbons or bows
Or
painting your toes
Its’
just not what good little boys are to be
So
play with the boys
For
a mans what your going to be
Its’
so plain that we can easily see
So
be what we say to be
Suppress
what you feel
Your
insides they do kill
Because
its’ making you ill
As
you try to be as they say to be
But
every day you do pray
The
things you can’t say
As
you ask for a much brighter day
Just
to live the life that you feel
So
on your knees you do kneel
For
a new life and thrill
Of
living what you feel you to be
To
the Lord up above
For
the purest of love
That
came with the gift of the dove
So
I asked if I’m wrong
But
with a blessing so strong
From
His great loving arms
He
says He’s always loved me for who I am
So
tell everyone, I am who I am
And
I love all my children too
So
quit being blue
To
yourself you must be true
Just
talk to your “Father” above
